"Evalu8 is like bread that comes already sliced!"
Dave Bull
Director of Hail Environmental

HAIL Environmental was formed by Brendon Love in early 2014. Brendon’s vision was inspired after seeing a gap in the consulting market. Since the introduction of the National Environmental Standards for Assessing and Managing Contaminants in Soil to Protect Human Health (NES) the need for contaminated site investigation and management services has increased.

After 25 years working in environmental consulting industry Brendon experienced significant developments in data collection and capture techniques however these development have not been realised by clients. “Essentially HAIL Environmental provides services for the purpose of environmental compliance”, says Brendon. “It’s our job to ensure that compliance can be achieved in a timely and cost effective manner”. To deliver this HAIL Environmental has developed investigation techniques that utilise the latest geospatial data capture tools and database software to ensure that field and laboratory data directly interfaces with report templates. These efficient data processing techniques benefit our clients by saving time and money.

HAIL Environmental is destined to become a collective of consultants with a broad range of contaminated site investigation and management expertise.

"Evalu8 has helped improve our efficiency in collating data and comparing it to a variety of standards. The input of data direct from the lab reduces the risk of human error and speeds the process up. The improvements in efficiency enable us to provide a faster service to clients and makes results instantly useful. Faster service clearly leads to a better business.”
Tricia Scott
Director

NZ Environmental began offering resource management and environmental monitoring services to the Far North District community in 1994 and in the South Island since 2005. One of our first jobs was to secure a Resource Consent for ITT Rayonier to log pine forest at the Northland College School in Kaikohe.

“It was great to work with business, a local school and the Council putting my University training to use and knowing that it was helping with the funding for the college,” Tricia.

This was the beginning of many projects, the biggest of which was (and still is) the Ngawha Geothermal Power Development near Kaikohe in Northland. NZ Environmental was engaged to provide environmental consultancy services to the Far North District Council. We worked closely with FNDC staff through the Proposed District Plan through to the Operational District Plan and have enjoyed having the opportunity to interface between the public and Council.
